An earthquake ruffled the routine life of all the chinese people: so far,nearly more then 20 thousands fellowmen’s life have been taken from this disaster and this figure, 20 thousands is never the end. More people would become homeless even lose their lives.
The disaster close the distance among chinese people, making China a concretive whole nation then anytime before. All the people from the non-suffered areas are making donations trying their best to offer help to the disaster areas. Its said the number of died people is going to be more than 50 thousands.That’s extremely terrible.
This earthquake is the first time i have ever experienced: I was in a netcafe playing war games with friends intently when the netcafe seemd to be empty all of a sudden. All the guys rushed out then i realised perhaps something bad happend. Initially i supposed there might be someone who was robbing the netbar but i was wrong. I was so concentrate on the game that i didnt take a notice of the shake of ground.
Actually,i dont wanna mention the disaster more for its too brutal: the lives of human beings are too tiny to be compared with the force of nature. Rapidly as the technology grows,people are still not able find good ways to cope with these natural disaster.
In the past a few days, together with me were some of my good friends in my college. I came back to HBUE since my last time visit at last year. However i can no longer feel it’s the university i have ever attented. I mean, i could not feel a kindness as i was feeling. It’s somewhat strange to me. To console myself, the food i liked before was delicious as before.
Currently i am learning php coding by myself. Hopefully i could achieve more improvement
It happened at around 2:28 pm local time, in Wenchuan County, which is about 100 kilometers away from Chengdu, the capital of Sichuan Province, when I was attending class.
One friend of mine is attending University of Electronic Science and Technology of China, located in Chengdu which is quite near where the earthquake happened. I’ve been trying to reach him on the phone from 4pm to make sure he is OK, but I couldn’t get through till now.
Some of my classmates and I felt dizzy when it happened. I’m still dizzy now. This may be due to infrasonic wave. Some friends of mine on the Internet also claimed that they were having the same symptom.
The number of the dead and wounded is not known yet. The latest rumor says it’s 8533, most of who were pupils and students.

Speaking to reporters in the Indian hill town of Dharamsala, for almost 50 years home of the Tibetan government-in-exile, the 72-year-old spiritual and secular leader of his people expressed concern for Chinese injured by his followers in Tibet, even threatening to resign from his secular duties if violence against Chinese persisted.
This from a Tibetan leader who fled the Chinese in 1959 as a “boy king” of 24, whose homeland, after Mao Tse-tung’s Chinese forces attacked in 1949, suffered what the International Commission of Jurists judged to be genocide. (Iyer writes: “One in every five Tibetans—more than a million in all—died of starvation or in direct encounters with the Chinese, according to Tibetan estimates.”)
Following is my comments on the book:
the book is nothing but rubbish saturated with lie. the writer quotes tibetans’ estimate that since the governance of chinese, about 1 million people have been killed. Please give us robust evidence other than somebody’s “estimate”. the writer of the book is supposed to be well educated and he/she knows it is not so hard to find reliable information sources(if he/she is not lazy). The truth is, in 1953, there were 1.275 million tibetans in Tibet, reporting by the tibet autonomous government which was led by the dalai lama the momment. By the recent census(2003), the population of Tibetants in Tibet was 2.7017 million. Notably, the one child policy does not apply in Tibetans, they can give births as many as they want. It is EXTREMELY stupid to fake such a massacre to cheat the world. Please listen, if you really want know the truth, go back to do some investigation and literature searching, otherwise just shut up and see what we will do to those lie-manufacturers.
